VOTech is a web application for online voting. There are 4 main functions: Voting form builder, Voting rights setting, Online voting system and Voting reports system.

VOTech has various voting forms for your selection1.
(A) Identity verification form is a form of verification which is used to verify the identity of an individual or to count the number of people in the meeting.
(B) Approval voting form is a form of voting. The voters can vote either Approve or Disapprove on any topic. The voting topic can be set by the administrator.
(C) Endorsement voting form is a form of voting. The voters can vote either Endorse or Not endorse on any topic. The voting topic can be set by the administrator.
(D) Choose-one voting form is a form of voting. The voters must vote only one choice from the list of choices. The voting topic and choices can be set by the administrator.

VOTech is able to set the right to vote by using the random 4-digit PIN number that is automatically generated by the system. The PIN number is divided into 2 groups. The first group is a PIN with voter identifiers while the second group is a PIN without voter identifiers.
Condition for enhancing the secrecy of voting
You are able to add the following conditions to the voting forms.
1. Meeting count is a condition to count the number of people in the meeting before voting. The attendance are identified by using the PIN number. The voting will be able to start after the meeting count is completed.
2. Randomizing order of choices is a condition to change the order of choices in a voting form for each voter2.
3. Voting by the numbers is a condition to replace the choice in a voting form with numbers3.
4. Secret voting is a condition to blind the voter identifiers and the PIN number of voters.
5. PIN without voter identifiers is a condition to use the PIN without voter identifiers. On the other hand, PIN with voter identifiers is used when this condition is not selected.

In order to protect the security of voting as much as possible, the voting results are encoded. Furthermore, VOTech has no function to delete and edit the voting results.
ONLINE VOTING
works on any devices
VOTech is a web application for online voting. The voting forms of VOTech have been designed and created to automatically adjust for different screen sizes and viewports (Responsive Web Design). Consequently, you are able to vote via VOTech in a web browser4 from anywhere and on any devices from desktop computer to mobile phone that are connected to the internet.
Ready to display voting results
VOTech is ready to show the summary of voting results after the voting is completed. The results are displayed on a result page and arranged from higher to lower scores. Moreover, the result page can be controlled by the administrator.
1. The format and content of voting form can be modified based on the format of VOTech.
2. This condition is available only in the Choose-one voting form.
3. The order of choices in the Approval and Endorsement voting form is automatically changed for this condition.
4. It works well on the new version of the browser (Google Chrome version >29.0, Microsoft Edge version >11.0, Firefox version >22.0, Safari version >10.0, Opera version >48.0).
