SEQUENTech
online reservation system
SEQUENTech is a web application for online room reservation. There are 4 main functions: Room searching system, Room reservation system, Room approval system and Conclusion system.
Ready to search and reserve the available room
SEQUENTech is able to filter search the available room based on a date, time period, room name, room capacity as well as room facilities, in order to provide the searching efficiency as much as possible. The search results are shown as a timeline format. The red and yellow colors in the timeline represent the periods of time for an approved reservation and reservation request, respectively. Then, all reservation requests need to be approved by the room administrator. Furthermore, the room rate and minimum advance reservation time for each room can be set by the room administrator.

The room reservation can be made quickly by selecting your preferred time in the timeline. The orange color in the timeline will appear to indicate the periods of time for room reservation1.
Ready to view the reservation history
SEQUENTech has the storage data system to maintain the reservation history that contains the reservation date and time, room name, room rate and reservation status. Therefore, you are able to filter view your reservation history based on the date and time.
RESERVATION APPROVAL SYSTEM
SEQUENTech is able to assign the room administrator2 for each room to manage the reservation requests. In addition, SEQUENTech can also assign the department administrator who has a responsibility to manage the reservation requests of the department’s staff. The request will be sent to the room administrator after it is approved by the department administrator. Besides, SEQUENTech has the automated approval system which can be applied to the desired room by the room administrator. In this case, the reservation requests will be automatically and immediately approved when the room reservation is made.
SUMMARY OF RESERVATION DATA
The administrator of SEQUENTech can access to the summary data that contain the total hours of room usage, total room charge, user information and the date and time of the room reservation. The summary data can be shown based on either the name of the user or the room name. Additionally, the administrator of SEQUENTech is able to filter view the summary data based on the reservation dates.

1. Selecting of the time for room usage in the timeline is the first step of room reservation.
2. Up to 3 persons can be designated to be in charge of each room.
